APC can't decide for Nigerians who to vote for in 2027 general election...... Professor Omolaja Muhammad (SDP Chieftain)!
 
 
Professor Muhammad Omolaja has reacted to the discuss which is currently going on in the media circle, where the Senate President, Akpabio, stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will not only be the sole candidate of the ruling Party (APC) during the next general election but also states that Tinubu will also be re elected come 2027 given the fact that he had done a good job. According to the Senate President, "Nigerians are saying that because you (Tinubu) have done a difficult job well, it's time to reward you by sending you back to the Presidency for a second term"
 
Professor Muhammad Omolaja who spoke through his Media Director, Ajibade Alabi, said:
 
"The Senate President did not say that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is emerging as the Nigerian President in 2027. Rather, he said President Tinubu has emerged as the sole Presidential Candidate of their Party; that is, the All  Progressives  Congress (APC)! This does not indicate that the latter is succeeding himself as the Nigerian President in 2027 as he still needs to face candidates from the other Parties for a serious contest in the 2027 Presidential Election."
 
Prof. Muhammad Omolaja also spoke on the motion that Nigeria is heading to one party system.  "No! Nigeria cannot become a one-Party State at least for now. We have 19 INEC registered and recognized political Parties in Nigeria and APC is just one of them. We still have 18. This means that there may be up to 18 other presidential candidates apart from President Tinubu among whom Nigerians may decide to elect one!"
 
In rating the performance of the APC led government under the Tinubu’s administration, Prof Omolaja said that the overall performance of the government is far less than credit line. He said: “Many things are wrong under the leadership of Tinubu who was an APC candidate in 2023 Presidential Election and now the Nigeria sitting President. Look at the State of the nation today! Is that how it should be? Nigerians deserve a better quality of life. Nigerians deserve good roads, clean and drinkable water, stable electricity, quality education, good leadership, security of life and property, adequate and affordable food supply, adequate housing, appropriate transportation network, rapid development of industrialization, full employment, stable exchange rate of the Nigerian currency, availability of oil and gas products at affordable prices, unity and indivisibility of the nation, and many others; all these are seriously lacking in the present day Nigeria!

Only the Social Democratic Party (SDP) is capable of reversing all these prevailing vices by providing the needed good governance in Nigeria as from the year 2027
