Music star, Oba Ara Mourns Awujale

Says ' We have lost a gem
Notable and multiple award winning singer, Doctor Evangelist Rotimi Onimole famously known as Oba Ara has sent his condolences message to all the sons and daughters of Ijebu Ode over the passage of Awujale of Ijebu Ode, His Royal Majesty Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.

Oba Ara, who hailed from Lagos Island described the death of Awujale as a collosal loss to the Yoruba race. 

'Let me use this opportunity to condole with sons and daughters of Ijebu Ode as we lost our king yesterday.

 ' We have lost one of the revered kings in Yoruba land, Oba Adetona was not only a king but a royal father who contributed immensely to the growth and development of Yoruba race and our royal institution. 

Oba Adetona came, saw and conquered' He noted. Oba Ara, however ever pray to God to grant Awujale  everlasting rest.
