Muhammad Omolaja, NLP Dumped NRM, moved on to PRP!
The game and cheese for the next political dispensation starting from 2027 and the political chess is already on. The latest news in political arena in Nigeria now is that Professor Muhammad Omolaja, a 2023 Presidential Aspirant under the platform of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) and his Team, National Liberation Patriots (NLP) has finally dumped the National Rescue Movement (NRM), and have moved on to the People’s Redemption Party (PRP).This latest news was unveiled by the Media Director for Professor Muhammad Omolaja and NLP, Comrade Ajibade Alabi, who spoke while addressing the press on behalf of the team in Abuja, on Saturday, September 06, 2025. " I have to officially announced to you the gentlemen of the press that the marriage between Professor Muhammad Omolaja, a former Chieftain of the NRM has come to an end and also the NLP has seized to be a political group under the NRM; Professor Omolaja and the NLP have moved on to join the People’s Redemption Part (PRP). We will as usual do our best in the new Party to make it well known beyond how it is known presently and also make it more accepted to Nigerians and as our name indicates, our mission is to liberate and redeem Nigerians from the bondage that the present Nigerian government is unleashing on Nigerians. We pray and hope that come 2027, Nigerians will take the bulls by the horns and make a good choice by given us their support. Thank you all."The decision to dump NRM to join the PRP, according to Professor Muhammad Omolaja, was that NRM was facing a lot of challenges ranging from unhealthy organizational politics, administrative disunity, factionalism, and court cases now and then, among others, which are not good for party growth and development if we are to liberate and redeem the country as from the year 2027. On the other hand, PRP is a settled Party without any form of internal crisis. It is through such a peaceful Party that serious politicians can achieve their respective missions and aspirations. On the other hand, the PRP, according to Professor Muhammad Omolaja, is full of people of integrity, honour and focus politicians who have the people's needs at heart! PRP is well structured, well managed, friendly and well disciplined. It shares the philosophy and ideology of politics, politiking, and corporate governance of the National Liberation Patriots (NLP), It is so unique in terms of membership mobilization down to the grassroots across the nooks and corners of our great country; the federal Republic of Nigeria, It is devoid of internal crises such as factionalism, irrational organizational politics, hatred, unnecessary jealousy or rivalry, it is open to its members and general public and to welcome new political ideas and initiative from its members and groups for development, and it is very close to the Nigerian masses and feels for their needs. PRP is a very principled Party operating on the following five (5) cardinal principles: the value and the equality of human beings, the power of the people, socialism, genuine federalism, and total liberation from imperialism.
